Back to the danger shop, back to the adventure! It would seem that Amaya's intrepid little class of weaponsmiths have made it off the beaches of Tanalore and into the dense jungles that surround it. In brightly greeting the students for the day, she's handed out machetes so that could make the attempt to clear a path through the dense foilage, but...

"Zards." She clicked her tongue, shook her head in dismay, and tried not to look too proud of what she was going to say next. "It looks like these machetes just aren't going to cut it!"

Ba-da-ching.

"Luckily," she added, positively shameless about it, "you all know the drill by now! I'll bet there's a few things hidden in this jungle that might be able to help us fight the flora better than these dull old blades! So let's get to it! Have a look around, remember that you can use machetes as well, partner or group up if you feel so inclined, and let's see what we can do to get through this jungle!"

There was a...brief pause.

"Short of burning it down, I suppose. A clever solution, perhaps, but also a bit more on the extreme side that we'd like."

And now she was wondering if she hadnt' said anything, if any of them would have even thought of it, but also, she'd been teaching at this school long enough that that was probably why she even thought of it before it came up...

In a jungle!

There isn't much of one, but there's some time to futilely hack your way through some jungle before the class gets around to today's assignment!

No beast or monster to fight today, just the impassible press of Mother Nature herself! And, of course, the randomizer on the danger shop program seems to provide the following certainly super-useful items for the students to try and use to help them get through this dense disaster:

Lana: a bouquet of flowers, a seat belt, a bottle of sunscreen
Freya: an eraser, a cork, a plastic shopping bag
Julius: a thimble, a wristwatch, a ring of very old keys
Juillenne: another wristwatch, a book about arts and crafts, a large wooden box
Shuri: a blank CD, a pair of knitting needles, a pair of fancy pantaloons
Grog: a pair of binoculars, a jar of chocolate-chip cookies, some bananas
Sabine: a plush rabbit, a bottle of hair conditioner, an mp3 player

Who is trying not to think too hard on the story some of those items found amongst the foilage might be trying to tell...

I had to check that it was actually Monday way too many times in the writing of this post...

Lana thought for a bit, then reached down to get some soil and mixed it in the sunscreen. She put that on the seat belt and used it as a strop to sharpen her machete.

What? She'd paid attention to other lessons on blades.
