Animal Handling for Fun and Fun, Thursday

So, the tavern was exactly the same as before. Only this time kittens. Because your teachers either had trouble with the controls or, you know, kittens.

"Look at them all!" Magnus had two clawing their way up his armor. It was adorable.

Catra was not snuggling a kitten, she just happened to be holding it in a safe and secure way that induced purring. "Cats are much more difficult than puppies, they can't be commanded, only coaxed."

"Also, needlesharp claws!" Magnus had the best input.

"So you'll know if you make them unhappy."

"Puppies were easy, so we're upping the difficulty with these guys," Magnus said. "Make one your friend and you'll be ready for the next step on our journey to... Animal buddies. Knew I shoulda been a ranger."

Everyone take a moment to consider the possible end result of that.

"So pick a kitty, everyone!" Magnus said as one particularly adventurous kitten got to his belt to bat at Stephven.

Rosa Diaz, 1

Rosa, who had absolutely never had a problem with cats before, suddenly seemed to be seized with the worst kind of cat allergies you could imagine, which made no sense but this was definitely making this a class where she was just going to nope right out of it after a few minutes because she actually liked breathing and she would like to be able to survive long enough to get to throw spears for her own class, thanks.

This freaking ~~crit fail roll~~ island, ugh.

Wayne, 20

Wayne wasn't exactly wild about cats, as a timely other narrative was wont to point out, but he didn't much have anything against cats, either, but it would seem that he'd be spending this class with one particular black cat curled up in his lap, sleeping and purring up a storm as he very absently but pleasantly scratched behind its ears.

Little did Wayne know that this would be the halcyon days of his cat experience, unaware of the feline storm that awaited him when he walked through the doors of Furndado after leaving this class.

But this sure was nice. While it lasted.

Beaker, 3

Did Beaker have one immediately sinking its claws into his Muppety plush and holding on like some sort of demented kitty rodeo ride?
