Blood Stain Removal (And Other Practical Ways etc.), Thursday, Period 1 (2/6)
"So, wardrobe," Kennedy began, sitting on top of the desk at the front of the classroom again. "We're going to actually get into class-title-relevant subject matter a little bit here today. How are you gonna keep a parental unit, SO, or nosy roommate from noticing how you always have weird dried slime on your jeans, or explain those claw marks in your brand new boots?"
She paused for a moment, maybe for dramatic effect, maybe to let them think about it a bit, probably both.
"... well, you might want to look into swapping roommates for one who gets that personal space and privacy are a thing," she added. "And obviously, you don't want to just leave all that stuff lying around in the open, right? Lucky for you, dorm living means you have plenty of opportunities to practice doing your own laundry, because that's a thing you definitely want to do, especially if you're the type who goes out vigilante-ing in a funky themed costume. I have, sadly, not yet found a laundry service that specializes in Slayer clothing problems."
Laundry service, really? Your Westchester County is showing there, Kennedy.
"So back to the class title thing. You definitely want to try and get to those blood stains or slime spatters as soon as you can. Those little stain treatment pens? Possibly the most important addition to the standard secret-superhero arsenal since ... I don't know. Masks?" Kennedy shrugged. "That liquid castile soap stuff works really well too, and if all else fails and you don't have a fiancée who gave you a custom equipment belt for your last birthday that has a storage pouch specifically so you can carry around one of the tiny bottles of soap just in case --" that was an awfully specific example there, Kennedy. "This will sound really weird, but cola actually works pretty well. Would absolut
ely recommend spot-testing that stuff in case a certain kind of slime reacts badly to it."
"Anyway, this week's exercise: kinda like last week, pair off and take turns coming up with explanations for whichever weird wardrobe issues are drawing unwanted attention from people you live with, then switch and do it again.
