Hannibal greeted the students in a comfortable-looking living room today.

"I apologize to you all, but my preparations for today became somewhat derailed by..." he stifled a sigh. "...Men with coconuts pretending to be horses." Honestly, Jono, your world was more insane than Fandom. "They were attacking the other school I teach at. We're still not entirely sure why, for once."

They hadn't seemed to harbor anti-mutant sentiments. They'd just been...ridiculous.

"Therefore today will be a movie day. this one comes highly recommended.

"By the way, should any of you have people visiting this weekend, I will be in my office and available for speaking with. If there is anything you would like me to tell them or avoid saying, please let me know ahead of time."

Prompto Argentum

Y'know, as much as Prompto would have liked to have had the chance to actually whip up something to impress Ignis with when he got there thanks to this class and Dr. Lecter's tutelage, he was so down with a movie day, too, because he'd probably be too nervous about getting it right and messing it up anyway. So this worked.

Now if he could just keep himself from checking his phone every five minutes for the message to let him know the boyos had arrived...

Nell watched the movie, but it was pretty obvious that she was feeling a bit melancholy and not attending to it as eagerly as she might usually do.

"Presumably it will notify you when you get a message," Hannibal said from over his shoulder.

Honestly, Prompto.

Hannibal took an opportunity to sit nearby and speak lowly, so as not to disturb the others.

"Are you all right, Nell?"

"Heh." Caught in the act, Prompto's face filled with red, each one of his freckles popping out in clear relief. And he had a lot of freckles.

"Sorry, Dr. Lecter. I'm just....I don't know, excited I guess."

"You have visitors coming?" It wasn't a difficult guess.

"Yeah." And now that red face was practically split in two from a big, maybe slightly crooked grin. "My best friends from back home. They couldn't make it last year, so I'm maybe a little stoked that they could this time around."

"Ah - your Night, Fire, and Sword?" Hannibal asked.

Putting it that way was not helping with the blushing.

"Well," said Prompto, trying to laugh it off, "technically speaking, it's Night, Fire, and Pretty Flower, he just lucked out on the nickname."

"Ah, Gladiolus." Hannibal nodded. "It's good to have those who will visit you. Do you all have plans for the weekend?"
