Fur, Feathers, and Scales: The Biology of Domestication, Thursday, Period 2
Zack was totally giving that little, 'well hello to all of you how good to see you today!' grin that he was prone to giving to basically everyone in the world, because Zack, when he came into the classroom today, holding a baby goat in his arms.
Tip had mentioned that they were cute at some point, and today he just so happened to have one.
... He had no idea why anyone was keeping goats on the island in the first place, but it was terribly cute, even if it did keep trying to lean up to eat his hair.
"Hey, guys. Today's class is about goats!" Because why not? How often did a small town animal shelter get something like this in anyway? "Goats were another animal that were domesticated for meat, and for milk, fur, and skins. They are also," he set this particular goat down, and it took off at a prance across the room like nobody's business, "really bouncy."
It was the cutest thing, okay?
"So today we're going to play with the goat. Maybe set up something for it to climb on? They love climbing!"
This class was so educational, weren't you glad you were taking it?
