The Jackdaw seemed empty upon first arrival. Not even the deckhands were about.

... and just as you hit the 13 minute mark, there's a scrabbling sound coming from the edge of the ship. Within moments, a tuft of black hair peeks out from behind the railing.

Pirates!

... Armed with wooden swords, coming at you and doing their level best to look threatening, at least.

Scraggly-haired and looking like he just crawled out of bed? Aye. But his robes are on the right way and he has a winning smirk on his face as he appears before the wheel.

"Ah, do you lot think you can take me? Take the Jackdaw? I'll teach you misers a thing or two!"

Sure, with that wooden cutlass.

Afterwards, when he's sitting on the edge of the ship, grinning much more doofily.

Uma kept creeping closer and closer to the ship's anchor. Look, if Edward was going to leave the ship unattended, she couldn't be held accountable for what happened to it!

"They're trying to take our ship!" Uma called, snatching up one of the wooden cutlasses in a pile at the mast. "Fight them off so we can heave off to victory!"

Look, she was intent on taking this damn ship.

Oh. He was here. UGH.
