Today the classroom had a little mock up of a drive thru window. Which might be giving away today's lesson, but no one said this would be a subtle class, okay?

"Welcome back," Tony said cheerfully. "Today we're moving onto the slightly more active version of getting food without cooking it yourself... the drive thru. Or walk thru on this island."

Seriously, the lack of cars continued to be weird.

"There are lots of different options," Steve said, "but they mostly seem to be based around hamburgers."

"And tacos," Tony added. "Chicken too. Um..."

Well, that sort of exhausted the options for the most part. "Oh, and coffee!"

Yeah, that being added in should surprise no one here.

"...there's drive-through coffee?" Steve replied. "Why?"

"It's for people who don't wake up at dawn to run marathons," Tony replied dryly. "We can do a field trip into the city to see one later."

"Sounds fun," Steve said. "Okay. For the rest of you. You have ten dollars to order lunch. Try not to make your order too complicated, okay?"

"And enjoy the free lunch. Breakfast? We'll call it brunch to be safe." Because who didn't want a greasy burger while in class?

Drive through! Or...walk through. Which shouldn't be a thing.

You have ten bucks and all of the drive through options! McDonald's! Taco Bell! Arby's (where the line is short because no one goes to Arby's)! Pick your favorite!

...watch out when you put things on the tables. The edges aren't quite where you think they are today.

Steve wants a drive through salad place. With protein shakes.

Steve must be stopped.

Baby girl just let out a burp bigger than she is. Yiiiikes.

Summer Smith

Tony had lost two cups of coffee to the weirdness today. He trusted nothing and no one now.

After tacos on Saturday, pancakes on Sunday, Summer thought for a hot second that maybe she should be 'good' and be 'that person' who orders a salad at a fast food joint.

And then she thought, screw that. "Bacon cheeseburger, please! With fries and a diet coke."

Blah blah blah girlish figure.

.....and that was Summer's drink and half her fries going flying off the table because she didn't put it in the right placE, APPARENTLY. This was after she had jammed her thigh into a corner of the table she thought she cleared by a good inch.

"What. The. Hell?"

"It's been happening all day," Steve said apologetically. "No idea why."

"All those poor little fries," Summer said with a frown. "Maybe I can still salvage them for the ducks in the park or something, though."

"Do they eat french fries?" Steve asked. "I always guessed that they were Fandom ducks and ate something weird, like cheeseburgers or the souls of the innocent."

"You know, I hadn't thought of that," Summer admitted, feeling that she probably should jave. "But, counterpoint, who eats cheeseburgers without fries?"

She didn't know what would be a good side for innocent souls, though.

Ahsoka Tano

"No one I want to know," Steve said solemnly.

Kaylin Neya

Kaylin went to Arby's because no one was there and ordered lots of roast beef with cheese. And fries. And a drink.
