MSND [slowplay]

The sets are up, the house lights are dimmed, and the play is ready to begin.

[Actual production will be SP'd here. There will be an audience post tomorrow night, so the audience can react to what's going on onstage then. Have fun, go nuts, guys. Chat room is: MSND, but I have school and won't be on until tonight or so. Outline. Please use the scripts you were emailed. Important: ~~DO NOT SKIP AHEAD IN THE PRODUCTION. THERE ARE EVENTS PLANNED~~ OKAY I LIED. Please just post Acts I-III for right now, as there is something planned to happen at the end of Act III. Please just check in on this post to check for a cue.]

Krycek showed up in a close-fitted black turtleneck, along with his leather pants and boots. He also seemed to be wearing eyeliner, skin paler than usual.

Krycek wasn't nervous, but his part was pretty minimal. Mostly he figured he'd be standing around looking pretty.

"Hey, Kry," Callisto did not check out Kry in the leather pants. Really. You didn't do that to friends, at least not ones with psychotically jealous boyfriends..

Several minutes later, after much huffing and various groany noises, Xander's voice came from the dressing room door. Inside the dressing room door. With the door firmly shut.

"You're aware you're going to Hell when you die, right, Parker? I ask not really out of concern, just curiosity."

Parker drifted over, smiling very, very happily. "Yes. I have a reservation on a fantastic waterslide, courtsey of Past Sins. I take it my number just moved up because the outfit fits?"

Quinn is wearing black because everyone else is, but that's as far as she's going. You can only concede so much, people.

"You'll never know, because I'm never coming out."

Parker coughed in amusement, then said, "Then I guess I have to come in and get you, don't I?" She rattled the door. "Do not make me crawl in this skirt, Xander," she said warningly. "It'll go worse for you if I have to retrieve you like a four-year-old."

There was silence for a second, then a voice muttering quietly, "No, she is not trying to turn you on. Also, stop that; there's no room."

After a moment, Xander said, "Define 'worse.' No, don't. Gah. I hate you."

And stepped out the door.

The look of pure glee on Parker's face didn't go with her Goth outfit either, but wow, did it go with Xander's. "I knew I got the size right. Turn around for me? I just want to check."

Allie was standing in the wings with Molly and Lana.

"Are you guys nervous?" she asked.

"Terrified," Lana said. "Plus, I just feel... weird. Like something's not quite right."

"I'm nervous to get started." Molly paused and rubbed her arms. "My skin feels tingly."

"You were to provide your own, I believe," Dream said. He tapped a finger against his lips. "I am sure we could make you up, if you wished."

Allie nodded. "Yeah, I feel a little..."

A number of fairies had flooded the back stage area. They'd caught wind of a bunch of kids planning to pretend to be them and decided to lend a helping hand.

One of them possessed Allie in the middle of her sentence.

She blinked and a moment later grinned broadly at the other two.

"Oh, this is going to be fun!"

Nadia was standing at the edge of the stage, waiting for her cue and reciting her lines to herself in her head to make sure she remembered them, when she felt a strange . . . shiver run over her.

Then she stuck the middle two fingers on her left hand into her mouth and played with her skirt with her right hand.

Wait, what?

Lana's body twitched a little as another fairy took her over. "Ooooh! I've been waiting for this opportunity!"

The fairy flitted around the room, dancing a little, trying out her new body, while Lana tried vainly to figure out what was going on.

Hamlet wanders out on to the stage and starts off the the first lines of the show. He seems unusually chipper tonight.

"Now, fair Hippolyta, our nuptial hour
Draws on apace; four happy days bring in
Another moon: but, O, methinks, how slow
This old moon wanes! she lingers my desires,
Like to a step-dame or a dowager
Long withering out a young man revenue."

Molly's body took a deep breath as the fairy possessed her. She grinned at the other two before spinning in place. "Too bad these wings don't work," she said.

Allie leaned over and flicked Molly's wings.

"Did you feel that?" she asked cheekily.

"Oi! Behave yourselves there!" Fairy!Lana said, tapping Fairy!Allie on the head. "Don't want them to think we got no manners!"

Hamlet wanders around into the dressing room wearing his usual black gothic-ish type wear. He hasn't done anything special, but wonders if he'll need any more costume pieces.

Fairy!Molly looked over her shoulder. "No, I didn't feel it, but stop it," she said to Fairy!Allie. Then she turned to Fairy!Lana and gave her a light shove on the arm. "Don't hit her."

Fairy!Allie leaned over and shoved Fairy!Molly. "Hey, you don't need to shove her," she protested.

Fairy!Lana shoved both of them. "Cut it out!" she said. "You're acting like buffoons!"

Nadia noticed the girls fighting and started giggling. She bounced up and down in place and might have even clapped a bit, which was a nice trick because she hadn't taken her fingers out of her mouth yet.

Wait, no! Stop! That's dumb, she's acting like a . . . little kid?

They're funny! crowed a voice in Nadia's head.

Aw crap. It finally happened. Nadia had lost it.
