Criminal Justice & You, Thursday, Second Period

Today's class was meeting in the Danger Shop, which was set up to look like an empty street in LA, with a neat row of Mitsubishi Eclipses awaiting the students.

"Oh, no!" Brian said, much more cheerfully than his words. "You're being chased by the cops! Doesn't matter why. But you don't want to get caught. Also doesn't matter why. Your cars are equipped with GPS guiding you to a safe location, but you may not be able to take the recommended route. Prepare for frequent reroutes. First one to shake your cop wins. Aaaaand GO."

Ada was just sulking that they didn't get to steal the car, too.

Look, you have your idea of fun, Ada has hers. And hotwiring firmly fell in to 'fun' because it was about making cars GO.

As Isabela, at least, could attest, Ada was quite good at evasive driving. And speed. She wasn't shy about seeing what her car was capable of doing.

She got rerouted a number of times, and probably scraped the bumpers pretty badly on one particular tight turn, but she was pretty pleased with her joyride.

Why? Why would you put Isabela behind the wheel of a car, Brian?

Turns out Isabela drove much like she did everything else, with complete disregard for the rules and using the brakes as little as possible. It was a miracle the car was in one piece by the time she reached the safe house.

Crashing. Crashing, crashing, crashing.

Yep, that was pretty much Kaylin's entire ride.
