That was probably movement in the bushes. And not sneaky decoy movement, either. Ringo was a city girl herself, and that sort of thing didn't really occur to her.

But Ringo also had finely honed combat senses, and she froze. Something wasn't quite right. Even as she slowly rotated her head, looking around, she couldn't spot what it might be.
