Clint had sent a message to his students to wear their swimsuits today, and when everyone arrived, they'd find a variety of bodyboards, surfboards, and rafts on the sand.

"Since it's pretty hot out today, I figured it would be a good idea to spend our class time in the water," he said. "The boards are for you to use, whether you want to try surfing or just floating around. I'll be keeping an eye on you, so you're safe."

Jasper decided that floating was going to be his speed today. He'd had a long weekend and he didn't want to try anything new that might have him face planting into the water.

Kathy spent the first half of the class practicing the surfer moves she picked up in Parker and Eliot's class. The second half had her pulling out a raft and sunning herself on the waves like a lizard.

The sunshine felt amazing, even though her mother would probably freak out if Kathy got a tan. Tans were the first step towards wrinkles.
