"All right, boys and girls, you have until Friday to turn in your midterms - and I'll expect to see well-developed articles on these people on my desk Friday morning and no later, mind, and let's not forget that it is twenty-five percent of your grade - but in the meantime, you may use the period to finalize those articles and ask me any questions you have."
