Congratulations, Bel! The gremlin bait in Anakin's office worked!

Anakin burst into the flight simulator shed in a helmet and red cape tied to his arms with yarn...and crashed onto the floor. "I am Super Grover 2.0 and I am here to teach you fine students the art of flying!"

...yeah.

It's my birthday today, so yay for slowplay as I get massaged and pampered and am allowed to leave the house without the rugrats, wheeee.

Will didn't even know what was going on but he was willing to roll with it. For a little while, at least.

Emma was really beginning to regret being in Bel's class.

Well, not so much beginning.

Kaylin Neya

Kaylin was just waiting to see what would happen next. This seemed most intriguing!

"Hello, good sir," Grover chirped...which was a very strange noise to come out of Anakin's mouth. Far too cheerful. "Would you like to learn to fly?"

"Would you like to learn to fly?" Anakin-who-thought-he-was Grover asked cheerfully.

Cheerful was creepy on him.

"You do not have a cape," Grover scolded her cheerfully. He did everything cheerfully. It was a thing. "Did your Mommy not make you one?"

"My mother is dead," Kaylin said quietly. He seemed well-meaning enough and a bit childlike, so she did not want to speak sharply to him. "But no, she never made me a cape."

Aww, now Kaylin had Anakin doing his best concerned Muppet face at her. "That is terrible. I am so sorry! Would you like a comforting hug? I am quite good at hugs."

"Yeah, why not?" Will said, shrugging. "I think it'd be a good skill to have."

"It is very handy," Grover agreed. "Now you take your cape...but you do not have a cape! WHERE IS YOUR CAPE?!"

"I didn't bring one," Will admitted, shrugging. "Is that gonna be a problem?"

"Well, it is quite impossible to fly without a cape," Grover said. "Everyone knows that." He ruffled his own bright red one with the yarn holding it to his arms. "My mommy made this one for me!"

Anakin was going to throw Bel so far when this wore off.

"That's...really nice of her," Will said with a snicker. "What do I do if I don't have one?"

"No, that's okay," Kaylin said quickly. "Hugs are... I'm not accustomed to them."

Joker Moreau

Normally, Joker would be all over this sort of thing.

Not in this class, though. He edged toward the simulator, wondering if he could slip in and work on whatever Anakin had planned for today while the rest of the class were distracting 'Grover'.

Andros

"I think I'm good," Emma said. She wasn't sure why she added "But maybe you can demonstrate for the rest of the class?"

Apparently Bel was even more of a bad influence than she thought.
