Choose Your Own Adventure, Thursday afternoon

Again, there was a bus in to Baltimore. This time, to the b. Funk Dance company, and dance lessons for the latest steps.

"Make up your own! Teach them to other people! If you get challenged by someone, dance back at them!"

Kenzi was dancing around too, a cross between dorky and awesome.

"... and after this, we're going to do this in public. Flash mob on the plaza. And the subway." She paused. "It's illegal on the subway. I think we should protest that."

Raven had never done any dancing even remotely like this before. She started off super awkward -- that white-girl-classical-ballerina sort of awkward that movies were made about -- but once she started to work out that she was supposed to walk like she'd just gotten off a horse and her pants were falling down -- and actually turned her lower spine into something with the consistency of rubber -- she started to get the hang of it.

Sort of.

Spines really aren't supposed to move like that.

"Can we protest with a dance?" Cecil wanted to know. "Why is it illegal anyway?"
