Dance- Monday- 2nd period

"Last week we tried dancing in pairs. This week we're going to try dancing in a group," Kitty said at the start of class, because hello was for other people today. "Most of you probably know this as a country thing, but it's basically just a dance usually of some repetitive movements that you can do in an actual line. You can do this for a whole bunch of different dance styles, and you'll see it happen at weddings and such in the form of the Electric Slide." She paused. "I am not going to make you do the Electric Slide. Not now, not ever.

"So finish up on your stretches. I'm not going to show you the steps first today. I'm just going to turn on the music and you're going to follow along with me."

"All right, this one that we're going to learn is a jazz line dance. So all the stuff we learned a couple weeks ago suddenly becomes a little useful. This one's a little more complicated, but I want to see if you can keep up," Kitty smiled, before they started on dance two.

I'm sorry, was anyone expecting Minako to be self-conscious? Like, at all? Because she was TOTALLY DOWN WITH THIS.

She wasn't, like, super-familiar with dancing to this type of music, but she picked up fast enough and ROCKED OUT.

Minako's hips and kicks were pretty much a thing of beauty in a jive. Especially the extension she could get while still staying on-beat.
