Fandom High Lacrosse Club, The Danger Shop, Thursday After Classes
Yes, Jackson had finally caught on about the Danger Shop's potential for lacrosse practice. So here they were, on a proper lacrosse field for once. With audience stands (though empty) and lights and everything. "Welcome to what lacrosse is supposed to look like," Jackson smugged. It was a verb. With him, it just was. "Today, you can try your hand at playing against another team. Don't worry, I'll be playing with you, and I made sure to make the sim easier for you than it would be in real life. In real life, you'd probably be butchered."
Reassuring!
"Hope you've warmed up," he added. "Because here we go."
On cue, the opposing team appeared on the field. Except there was something weird happening. Several of them were wearing mascot suits, for one thing. Also there was a player who looked normal, except for how his lacrosse uniform was inexplicably hot pink. (Also, his face was purple, but honestly, the pink was eye-searing and more likely to catch your attention first.) And another player seemed to move exclusively via cartwheels.
There was a simulated audience, too, but it was about as filled with... eccentric types as the team.
The smug look fell off Jackson's face. "–– the hell?"
This was going to be interesting.

And maybe Jackson could really have used some help from Lydia or someone else technologically smart in getting the simulation to work, yeah.
