Seven Deadly Sins, Period #5, 8/14 [Wrath]

Today, class was meeting in the Danger Shop. It looked exactly like the normal classroom, except that there was a large wardrobe standing near Callie's desk. It was locked shut, for the moment. Oh, and there were a number of mats in the center of the room, as well, and a clear space left around them.

"Our last class, and the last sin," Callie began. "It's Wrath. You know. Anger. Apparently you're supposed to stay docile while you're also refusing worldly possessions and not having sex. Sounds like a fun time. So if you want to oppose wrath, then you can stand in the center of the room and do yoga. Learn patience. Dull stuff like that."

She smiled, baring her teeth. "Or," she said, "you can let out your inner rage. Anybody up for that?"

She yanked the chest's doors open to reveal a cascade of weapons. Baseball bats, maces, flails, knives, swords, sledgehammers, a world of moddable delights. The only thing that seemed to be missing was projectile weapons, such as guns or crossbows. Sorry, today required getting hands-on.

"Everything in this room is breakable, if you hit it hard enough," she said brightly. "And we're in the Danger Shop so no one accidentally chops anyone else's finger off, and don't do it on purpose or you'll just piss me off. Leave the idiots doing meditation alone, and get breaking."

To illustrate her point, Callie walked over to her desk and pressed a finger to it. An instant later, it burst into flames.

Teaching was such a rewarding experience.

Go to the center of the room and align your chakras. Meditate. Make sure your chi is moving. Try to ignore the people going apeshit with weapons.

Class Activity Option #2: Break Shit - 7DS07

Get a weapon. Go to town. Hurl the sledgehammer into the windows. Smash up the desk that is currently on fire. Pick up a chair and beat it on the ground until it breaks. Go nuts, kids.

The only rule is that you not attack any of your classmates. Do not taunt Happy Fun Succubus.

...Except the violence was actually being encouraged. Yeah, Atton took a mental note to look for Callie's name on the schedule when he made his class picks, then picked up a staff.

That poor chair. It never knew what hit i-- well it probably did, considering how dramatically Atton had brandished it, but whatever. He was going to go on and pretend it was a Jedi and feel good, okay?

The magical girls back in Victor's last class plus the gremlin in the shop had his need to break stuff firmly taken care of for the day. He sat down, crossed his legs, closed his eyes, and tried not to feel like the biggest dope on the planet.

A faint staticky buzz rose from his body as he tried to align his chakras. Well, energy was going somewhere...

Yeah, Alec continued to not understand the reasoning behind this class.

He had absolutely no reason to smash things, so why would he? That wasn't to say that meditating would have been his first pick for the day's activities, but it was certainly preferable to needless violence.

BREAKING THINGS!!!

Bucky grabbed up a large spiky mace that weighed at least twice as much as he did, and started swinging it wildly. He wasn't AIMING for his classmates, but he wasn't really trying to avoid them, either. He was doing his best to destroy as many desks as possible before the end of class. Everyone else had better stay out of the way of the shin-level cyclone of chaos.

The last couple weeks had not been for Terry. He'd come to terms with most of his rage. Being Batman did that for people.

So yep, he chose the meditation. (In part because he didn't want to get onto too much of a roll destroying things.)
