Mercy felt a little on the spot, but, oh well. "I think I'd be more inclined to try and save a friend simply because they're someone I know and care about. But I think it would depend on the situation. If my friend's actions had put the strangers at risk I think both my friend and I would try very hard to save those people."

She made a face. "This would have been easier if you'd asked whether I'd save myself or other people."
