"Marine Biology", Thursday, Period 2

Summer couldn't recall the last time she'd worn a uniform -- if ever, so it wasn't that much of surprise to find her looking a bit uncomfortable at having to wear one. The closest thing to a uniform she was used to wearing was a wetsuit, and this was far from it.

"Welcome to your Marine Biology final exam," Summer smiled, once her students settled in. "I hope you've enjoyed our time together as much as I have. Hopefully, you've all learned a lot and will remember these lessons for a long time to come."

She passed out the exams.

"I'd like you all to write an essay on the importance of marine biology and why you think it should be something every student should study. Once you're done, you can bring your essays to the front and place them on my desk. Good luck."

Final exam time.

... not that there's much to it.

A normal essay for a normal class.

She couldn't believe how fast the term had flown by. She was going to miss her students.

I woke up and was convinced it was Friday... oops?

Gideon was here, taking care of his board member duties. Or, texting orders to New York and occasionally glancing up to see nothing out the ordinary had suddenly happened.

"What a nice, normal class."

He was almost disappointed.

Summer smiled, pleased to hear that.

"I take pride in providing an orderly atmosphere for my students, so they can get the most out of the class," she explained.

Gideon had actually been a little bit sarcastic there.

Which made little sense since it was a nice, normal class. It was just how he rolled.

"Uh huh," he said. "And is this class usually called Marine Biology?"
