Basic Strategy, Monday, Period 4

Tyrion was tired, vaguely hungover, and had a brain that kept going to things that were not remotely appropriate for classroom discussion.

"It's a movie day," he informed his students. "We'll be back to the normal program in our next meeting. This week, make note of how the protagonist in BattleSports uses his hobby and pluck to avert nuclear war, which I'm told would be a very bad thing. I'm here if you have questions."

The most unfortunate outcome of this viewing was that Dany's very limited understanding of computers was now radically shifting. She was racking up question after question to pose to people who knew computers -- and of course, that led her to daydreaming about, ahem, just one person who knew computers, yes, and her focus wasn't exactly on the film anymore.

This was why movie day existed, probably.

Loki came from a world where evil, sentient computer programs really did exist. So, this movie was quite fun if you asked him.

Dorothy hadn't had all the chances to take in movies. Her wide-eyed wonder was practically exquisite, her excitement almost tangible.

The movie plot itself went over things she had so little knowledge of, but she was quite the active movie watcher. And she was enjoying it quite immensely.

Squall wasn't all that happy with the choice of movie, given that he'd lived through a similar circumstance.

Granted, it hadn't been a computer that had launched the missiles that destroyed Trabia and nearly destroyed Balamb Garden, but it was similar enough to make Squall grumpy.

...Yes, he was usually grumpy. So what?
