The Chef seems to be running a few minutes late this morning. He also looks like he just rolled out of bed and went off to work. Because he was still wearing pajamas that had little chickens on them.

Pippi grabs a Cheeseboorger and Putetu Cheeps and plunks down at a table near a window... Assuming there is one.

Walter considers sitting with someone less generally cheerful, but maybe some cheer is just what the doctor ordered.

His tray is as heavily laden as ever, but he picks at it unenthusiastically.

"Hi, Pippi. I haven't... have not seen you in a few days. How are you?"

"Greg is leaving." she said as an answer. "Oh!! I missed your and Victor's food thing didn't I?"

"Greg?" Walter shook his head, not knowing whom she meant.

"No, you did not miss it. I forgot all about it and ended up just making toad in hole for Victor and Togusa. We will try again next Wednesday."

"Doctor House." she explains. Why did nobody know who she was talking about when she called him "Greg"?

"He took me for a ride on his new motorcycle and then we were eating muffins... He's talking like he's just moving out to Town, but I don't think he'll stay long on the island..."

She chewed thoughtfully.

"Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who forgot. We should make posters for next week. Posters are fun and everybody likes them."

"Oh, Dr. House. Yes. I heard the announcement that he was leaving. Good luck to him wherever he goes."

Walter can't bring himself to miss the man who wouldn't help his friends on Saturday, but Pippi doesn't seem happy, so he can keep that to himself.

"Victor said something about making posters. You two should talk about it."

"So did you ever implement your plan to welcome our sub-prince-y-pal?"

"Yes. We took care of it last night. I expect we will hear something about it in the next day or so." Oddly, he doesn't seem as gleeful as he might ordinarily.

"So what's the bee in your bonnet?" she asked.

"Nothing." Walter smiled for Pippi and snagged a potato chip off her plate. "I telephoned home last night and I suppose I am homesick, it happens to everyone, right?"

Pippi nods.

"I miss the Hoppitola terribly." she said munching on her chips.

"So what can we do to chear ourselves up?" she asked flicking a chip at him.

Walter catches the chip in his mouth and crunches it loudly at her before answering. "I think we might have to plan some trouble to get into. That seems to make me feel better. How about you?"

"I dunno... Seems different without Smith... But I'm always up for some mayhem."

"That might be because we have not taken the time to get to know this new principal. We should stop in during his office hours when he finally has them and introduce ourselves. We can use beautification team as an excuse."

"Yes, and we can ask him about what forms we would need to aquire the funding..."

"Better, we ask him where the funding forms are. We needed them approved to get started and Smith really wanted us to get started... Assume that they'll be there and if they're lost in the beaureaucracy, that's not our fault, is it?"

"Well of course it's not!" said Pippi seriously, and then winked.

"Tomorrow then, if he has office hours?"

"Deal."

"Sounds like a plan. I should be going, though. I do not want to be late for my appointment with Alfred ever again."

"Good luck with that." she waved as he went.
