If the way in which one character uses magic on another is according to the "sender's" own fandom, with resolution of difficulties by OOC negotiation (there was a discussion somewhere, lost the link), I see no reason why other matters -- such as ages of consent, and appropriateness of interaction -- shouldn't be handled the same way.
