The single red balloon Dream had with him in his classroom seems to have multipled and cloned itself in green, and a cloud of red and green balloons floats near the ceiling, apparently centered on Dream, who can barely be seen through the forest of strings attached to them. Dream occasionally swats them away but mostly seems resigned to it.

In addition, there's a wicker basket of candy canes and santa-shaped chocolates on a front table to provide much-needed sugar for people who still have finals.

Lana wanders in, ostensibly to study for her archeaology final today. However, she seems to be making some sort of list of pros and cons and thinking about something quite intently.

Xander enters Study Hall looking rather relaxed and pleased with himself - this could be because he doesn't have any finals left, or it could be because he has his Christmas shopping done, and a small bag of gifts under his arm, ready to be handed over to a certain delivery-witch should they cross paths today.

Vala flops down in a seat, Archaeology notes in front of her and a couple of chocolate Santas on hand. But she's mostly bored and apparently mesmerized by the balloons at the front of the classroom drifting back... and forth... and back... and forth...
