When the students come into class, Callisto is seated behind the desk instead of Ash.

All the art materials she could find are set out before her.

The following message is on the board.

"The true method of knowledge is experiment." - William Blake.

Experiment.

Create at least three pieces by the end of the class. They do not have to be big, or perfect, but they have to show effort.

Work with as many media and materials as you can.

Do not annoy the TA.

To start, Vala makes a mask (http://www.childbook.com/images/crafts/lionmask3.jpg) for herself, because all festivals need masks, and red and green and gold seem to be the colors for this one.

Then she spots the beads....

By the end of class she has made little bead ornaments (http://www.imagitek.com/xmas/images/beads.jpg) to hang on the tree, and a little something for herself (http://www.hearthsong.com/assets/images/hearthsong/images/shop/catalog/716247.jpg).
