Five minutes late to class, she charges in the classroom. Her posture is frighteningly erect. Her eyes flash with anger. Her jaw is clenched, and her knuckles are white where she is clenching her attache handle. She slams the case down on her desk and levels a killing glrae at each and every student in turn..

She then turns to the board and writes, in silence,

WHAT HAVE I COMMUNICATED WITH ONLY MY BODY LANGUAGE?

She sits on the edge of her desk and awaits discussion.

"Professor, did we do something wrong?" Rory asks hesitantly. "I mean...I'm sorry if we did. I haven't even been here, and I'm sorry, actually."

[Pretty sure he knows what's going on, Jack bites his lip and says nothing. But anyone reading his body language would note that he is quite relaxed.]

[Cocking her head to the side, she tips her chin up swiftly, almost impreceptibly, in a nod. There may be a twinkle in her eye that only someone very close to her personally would recognize.]

Rory arches a brow in return. "So, your body language was telling me that you're discontent over something, which is why I sprang to asking what was wrong. But now you're indicating a kind of cool apathy. So...I'm hoping you're just acting, because otherwise this could have scary results."

[She sucks her cheeks in and narrows her eyes. Crossing her arms, she drums her fingers against her bicep.]

Rory shrinks down in her seat, looking slightly frightened.

"Your body language seems to indicate anger," Piper said cautiously.

[She looks hard at Rory for a minute, then turns her attention elsewhere.]

[She looks at Piper with an expression of 'well, no kidding' then arches an eyebrow and drums her fingers against her arm.]

[She raises one corner of her mouth in a half smile, and huffs a small laugh out her nose.]

[Jack raises his hand, and waits patiently to be called on.]

Lindsey grins. "And now you think I'm amusing, so possibly I'll be spared death this time."

[In a cool, clinical tone:] You appear to be toweringly furious, and yet very controlled about it. Since we as a class have had occasion to see you this furious before, the body language is easy to recognize. However...

[She runs her tongue along her teeth under her closed mouth. It gives the impression of supreme irritation when coupled with the look in her eyes.]

However, you're usually very verbally communicative, and you aren't now. More to the point, you usually are very, very clear about exactly *what* you're angry about. So, from all of that, I'd guess that you're showing us how body language can be controlled and used to mislead. You're lying to us.

[Uncrossing her arms, she stands and walks behind her desk, pulling out her yellow tablet. She writes something on it, looks at Jack, looks at the clock, and writes more. She tears it out and hands it to him, folded in quarters. Written on it is "The Doctor's eyes only". Once he has it, she nods in the direction of the door, her expression blank and cold.]

[Jack takes the paper, reads the note written on the outside, nods, and rises and leaves the room.]

Uhm? Well... I don't feel like I've been beaten half-to-death with a sick llama anymore, so I think I'm doing a little better. And hey? Back in class so that must mean something.

What about you? Feeling Peachy-Keen and sadistic or "Back away and leave chocolate?" Because I do have chocolate. And if it'll save my life and...countless others I guess I'm willing to sacrifice it. For a good cause and all.
