*Smiling pleasantly* I am ready to listen to your prospectus and abstract. If two or more groups have the same project, one will have to change it. If the project is elementary, you will have to make the necessary adjustments. If the project involves massive amounts of property, physical, and/or psychological damage, I'll request you wait until college to try it out.

"Yeah the earthquake thing is good." he says "How are we going to make it though?"

"No idea. Maybe make like...a little bitty model of the school? And have colored layers of sand underneath it to show the shifting geological stuff."

"That sounds good. I've never really done anything like that but hey, first time for everything. And I can provide a fake earthquake pretty easily." he says "The three of us should get together and work on it sometime this week."

Rory nods. "Any night but Wednesday is good for me. And when's the JA fashion show again? I'm one of the models, so I can't do it then, either."

"The fashion show is on Friday. I didn't know you were modeling for it. I'm doing music." he says "As good as I look in leather I had to pass on the modeling."

Thomasina, who has been sitting at her usual lab table waiting for Rose to arrive, looks up at the question. She replies, I most likely shouldn't make this offer without asking Rose, but I can't think of a reason for her to object to you working with us. Then she remembers her manners and adds, I don't think we've been introduced properly - I'm called Thomasina.

Thomasina signs her name to the roll sheet and walks purposefully over to the laboratory table she habitually shares with Rose, to wait for her partner to arrive. She seems more than a bit preoccupied.

When Rose does not appear after quite some time, Thomasina opens her exercise book to the page where she has the notes for the experiment written down. Then she presents the experiment prospectus to Professor Sidle. We mean to do comparative dating of samples, using either two or three sets of samples, where one of us will date one of the sets using the fossil-record method and then, without revealing our results, pass that set to the next member to date using using carbon-dating. In this manner, we will each date one of the sets using each of the methods and demonstrate the efficacy of them.

[OOC: Do we actually have Willow as a group member? She never responded to my invitation and we've no idea whether she'll show up today. Other than that, we're good to go. Also, presuming that the lab stocks suitable samples. Let me know if this is a no-go. Thanks.]
