[She's unhappy today, to put it mildly. When you get to class there is no smile, and it's all business. Woe to you who were gone yesterday.]

201--Speech: Honesty
Using Ethos, Pathos, and Logos, to the best of your abilities, this week's assignment is to compose a speech which is a big huge lie. Really sell me on it. Go for broke. The bigger the better. You may work with a partner for brainstorming. You'll deliver these Thursday.

301--InterComm: Honesty

All right. Since so many of you had Monday-itis, we're doing the same game. Again. Three truths and a lie. Think up three true facts about yourself, the more farfetched the better, and one lie that seems plausible. We'll try to guess it. I'm not playing today, because clearly I know you too well. Those of you who were here yesterday, thank you...you still have to do it again. Go.

[She crosses her arms and leans against her desk, glaring at the class.]

That is the question, isn't it? What about if all four places I listed are lies?

::tries to avoid glares::

Um...

I've jumped off a cliff.
I've been burned alive.
I've got black blood.
One of my best friends is a plant.

"Sorry, let me clarify. I've been lied to a lot."

If part is a lie, it's all a lie. Either all true or all false. No middle ground.

Rory smiles apologetically.

"I have a Roman numeral following my name.
A deer once hit my car. No, I don't mean that the other way around.
I'm allergic to peanuts.
I've never been to Europe."

Piper feels guilty about missing class the day before and tries to think of something interesting to say to make up for it.

"I have magical powers.
I taught myself how to cook.
I have an irrational fear of spiders.
I like to clean when I am stressed."

Sits down and starts working on a speech about how the only thing happening in Cheyanne Mountain is stuff dealing with weather predicting and other NORAD stuff. All that stuff about aliens and traveling to other planets that ~~got leaked when whatshisname got ahold of the Asgard clone~~ has been speculated about is pure nonsense.

Upon receiving CJ's instructions, D'anna beings to scribble down a few ideas. She continues to do so for the rest of the class period, though there may be a few more random doodles this time than there were last week.

D'anna sighs and rubs her temples, trying to come up with some different things from yesterday. Her lips twist into a half frown, "I have a tattoo of a lion on my lower back, I've been attacked by a harpy, I turned eight on a battlefield, and I've lived on thirteen planets."

At his last remark, D'anna cocks her head to the side and wonders if Lindsey listened to the radio last night. "Do you play an instrument, too?"

"How... " D pauses for a moment. She had meant to ask about the burning alive, but thought better of it. In this school, it was totally possible to have undead, or newly re-living classmates. So she switched mid sentence, "is it possible to be friends with a plant?"

Veronica sits next to Piper.

"I'm guessing you didn't teach yourself how to cook," she says.

Veronica sighs. This will be the third time she's had to play this game at Fandom High.

"All right,

1. I'm an only child.
2. I'm claustrophobic.
3. I used my college money to put my mom in rehab.
4. I have a tattoo"

Allie sits down and is uncomfortable with the assignment.

"I'm from New Jersey. I've never been out of the United States. I want to be a doctor. I was the mini golf champ at my old school."

*He nods to D'anna*

Yeah, I play guitar.

D'anna considers the conversations she and Lindsey had before and even though she's not sure what church is, she's pretty confident she knows which is the lie. Instead of moving in for the figurative kill, she simply asks, "do you play it well?"

Deciding that Earth games kind of hoover, D'anna gives the other girl a sympathetic look. "What's the tattoo of?"

::blinks, then remembers that most of the plants here seem to be just the non-thinking kind:: Oh. Yeah, we've got sentient plants where I'm from. ::shrugs:: You been to Sanctity in town? She'd be the big blue talkin' one.

D'anna's eye brows go up in surprise and interest. She hadn't expected that part to be true. Definitely don't have those back home. "We had sentient machines once..." her voice tails off, she couldn't quiet imagine being friends with a Cylon. She shakes her head, "haven't been there, no."

*DEATH seems mildly confused by this assignment*

Veronica quirks an eyebrow.

"That would be my lie."

::grins:: Oh you mean like...like biomechanoid or actual machines that could think? 'Cause we have those too...well, the biomechanoid ones atleast.

::realizes it sounded like maybe D'anna didn't want to talk about that:: So... the tattoo have some deep personal meaning?

After talking to D'Anna, Veronica goes to Sydney.

"Hey, Sydney, how are you?" she asks.

She decides to guess. "So you do know the sex of your baby?"

"Thirteen planets?" Veronica asks? "I suppose you're not from this galaxy."

"Hi Veronica, no I don't." Sydney says, that not her lie

"No, home is far, far away," D'anna smiles. "I've spent time on each of the twelve colonies and so, this is my thirteenth planet."
