"We're going to continue on with our discussion about slim odds. If everyone could get back with their groups."

Padme waits for the seats to shuffle about.

"If you were out last time, just sit with any group and they will fill you in. Now... I want your groups to come up with a solution to this:'

"You are in enemy territory. You don't know the layout of the land, it's your first time in thise location. You had not the chance to do research and frankly, your current situation is unintentional. You and your group are trying to make your way through to civilization, or at least what you hopes pass for it. Suddenly, you are surrounded. They are armed. You are not.'

"What do you do?"

Logan keeps an eye out for his group while he considers this. "I'd start by looking for anything that could be used for cover or a weapon."

Anakin frowned. He had been paired up with O'Neill in the last class, but O'Neill was in the clinic, at least according to the radio.

He looked around for someone new to pair up with as he thought about the problem.

Alanna looks around for whomever she worked with last time.

Sam comes into the class looking more than a little frazzled, but hears the Professor's instructions and sits down near Alanna.

Alanna leaned over and whispered. "What are we arguing?"

"I wasn't here last week."

Sam leaned over and whispered back, "I think we're completely surrounded by armed people in completely unknown territory...and have to talk our way out of it."

This isn't Sam's forte--the Air Force didn't train her to be a diplomat. She hopes Elizabeth gets there soon.

Anakin smiled at Aeryn. "This project should be right up your alley."

Anakin raised an eyebrow at her statement, then gave her a not-totally-appropriate grin.

Alanna nodded. "Been in a situation like that before. I'm guessing, take the King's two brothers hostage isn't a possible solution this time?"

"I should hope so," she says. "The first step would be to find out whether or not the people surrounding you are actually hostile."

Padme stuck her tongue out when no one but him was looking.

"No," Sam sighed, exasperated, "Nor is planting C4 in a perimeter. First, I guess we should try and communicate with them."

"Try and get them to lay down their arms by using sign language," Sam continued. "It may be crude, but if they don't want to hurt us, they may do it. If they don't, then I guess we try to look as harmless as possible until they come after us..."
