Can't Take the Sky From Me

Ok, folks. I've been checking scrapyards around here, and while it may not be much, I found us a junker surface transport hover shuttle to practice flying in. Anyone who wants into the To The Black Club sign up here, and we'll begin looking for faculty sponsorship.

...flying?

Really?

It's no Viper, but better than nothing. I'm in.

... I've never been on anything that flies before. Being airborne, though ... entirely different matter. I've seen some hot air balloons, but never been up in one.

Oh, I'm definitely interested.

Flying? shiny!

(If you need help with maintenance I seem to have a knack for fixing things)

Flying? Well, I've been limited to broomsticks but I am one of the better fliers in my world if I do say so myself. I'm in.

Transports sound a step up from cargo planes. And flying is a useful skill. Count me in, with pleasure.

Is your ship alive?
Leviathans are alive. Very alive. Sometimes they talk to you.
The last ship I was on talked to me. She was dying. They're all dying...

Hell, yeah! I'm game.

Which scrapyard did you find it in? I'm applying at Jake's Scrapyard and Garage and I'd be VERY interested if there was high tech machinery in the 'yard.

Oooh, I'm in!

... hey, think the shuttle could use an onboard computerised waffle-maker?

[identity profile] b-someone.livejournal.com 2005-09-06 09:31 pm (UTC)(link)
There are things that can fly? Is it some sort of... mechanized bird?

[identity profile] aka-vala.livejournal.com 2005-09-06 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Excellent, I'm totally in!

[identity profile] emo-padawan.livejournal.com 2005-09-06 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Finally, something in this place that seems familiar! Count me in on this.

If you want me to tweak it a bit, too, I've got a knack with machinery.

Well, never really much needed to fly any of the ships I've been on, but I would think birthin' and buryin' a few of 'em counts for experience, right? I'm in. Eh, anything that gives me an easy way to escape credit for an activity works for me.

Yes, please. When can I fly?

[identity profile] smallfry-.livejournal.com 2005-09-07 09:40 am (UTC)(link)
A junker's fine - I'll feel right at home then :)

I'll come over later when you've found a safe docking spot for it to have a look and get an idea of the specs.
