Being a Proper Sea Dog, Friday, Period 3
Class met this week in the Danger Shop, on the usual simulated pirate ship.
At the start of class, there was seemingly no teacher.
Instead, a table with a cake. A cake with green icing, cut into generous slices on individual plates, enough for every student.
There was a note by said table, declaring that as an apology for the lack of class last week, there was delicious and moist cake for everyone.
But still no teacher to be seen...
[ooc:Wait for OCD, please! Open class!]

Eat Cake!
The Teacher Arrives!
"Right, right, now how many of you ate some cake?" He waited to see how many raised their hands.
"This is an object lesson. One of the best weapons in a pirate's arsenal is cake. In this instance, the cake is completely harmless. But this scrumptious sugary delight could have been dastardly, devious, deadly poison. I've used it before, and will probably use it again. The green is normally a dead giveaway, but you'd be amazed how foolish some people are when it comes to cake."
He gestured with the whisk.
"Now I know what some of you are thinking. Isn't it bad form to poison your enemy?" He laughed. "The answer is an irrefutable no. Bad form is eating mysterious cake. Especially green frosted cake. Poison is the pirate's pal, whether it be in cake, milk, or otherwise administered to the rival. So remember this especially. Cake may be a trap, lying in wait. Especially if you've crossed the likes of James Hook."
He laughed. "Now nom it up, that frosting is just mint. Good show, all of you."

What? At least it wasn't a shield.
