Newspaper meeting, Tuesday after classes/before reserves, Journalism Room [2/15]
The Journalism room was, as promised, open, and free from any signs of slime, green or otherwise. The stack of AP Style Handbooks by the door, in case anyone wanted one, was also sutra-free. Cally checked.
What was present besides the editors was a table full of pink and red frosted pastries and confectioneries. Day after Valentines discount for the win!
"Clearly this weekend was no sane time to try putting together a newspaper," Cally said once the staff had assembled. "If your articles from last week are already begun or even already completed, that's great; we're ahead for this Saturday's edition. If not..." Cally gave them a wry little smile. "Feel free to examine the island's method of celebrating local holidays; we certainly will be."
