This week, the students and any kids they brought with them would find themselves on a playground, complete with a slide, swingset, jungle gym, and all that fun stuff. This might have had something to do with the fact that beside Jaina was Chak, who for the record was kind of dying to get to playing. "Hi, everyone," she greeted them. "Happy to see some younger faces that I'm not used to. I-"

"Hey, can I do this part?" Chak asked.

While Jaina wasn't sure what he was going to say, she was sure it wasn't going to be anything bad. "The floor's yours."

Smiling a little at suddenly feeling in charge, he began, "Hi, my name's Chak, and this is my mom. This class is all about getting out of bad situations, like when someone won't share, or you get caught trying to sneak out... Not that I ever did that." Liar. "Or when you have a class planned but Fandom has bad timing. And sometimes getting out of bad situations means saying bad words and ditching the old idea and letting us play."

"You had to tell them that part, huh?" Jaina asked, looking down at him.

"Well, you did!"

"Just don't repeat it," she said. "The kid's right, though. Take the hour to go play, and if you don't have kids here to worry about... Push someone on the swings or something."

Like it's day three of kid-having!

Talk, or wrangle your children, whatever.

All playground equipment is moddable. Go for it omg.

Not thinking about any goodbyes that traditionally have to be coming up, nope!

And possibly children! I have not asked!

I wanna keep my boy forever but I think keeping the canon stuff straight would break my brain really soon.

Chak had already scoped out the playground and as soon as he was able, he parked himself on a swing. His goal today was to see if he could swing high enough to flip himself around.

Without using the Force, anyway.

Force-sensitive child on one side, metal-eyed child on the other, and a very, very composed Ender in the middle. At least Olhado and Valentine were behaving?

Ender had come to a sudden stop at the sight of the playground. Swings, slides-- for a moment he was sure he was staring back at the playground from the mind game, full of little kids that hid mouths full of little sharp teeth.

He jammed the palm of his hand hard against his temple, reminding himself it wasn't. This weekend wasn't doing good things for his PTSD.

Cara

After the way Cleo'd attached herself to Clark yesterday, Cara had been surprised (and not a little uncomfortable) to find she had a small plaid-wearing shadow following her to class this afternoon.

Though at least she was a relatively quiet child, even if she kept fidgeting.

Once she had permission to play, Cleo quickly clambered up to the very top of the jungle gym and balanced herself on top of bars to keep an eye out for evil doers.

Olhado had found a ball, and that was at least something. He ran between the equipment, kicking it around, and yelling for Valentine to join him.

Valentine mostly just looked amused.

Alex Russo

Thankfully, Alex only had one child to deal with today. Surprisingly enough, Melanie was being good and behaving herself. That... probably wouldn't last very long.

As soon as she was able, Melanie made a beeline for the parallel bars. She decided to see how long she could last on them, hanging upside down.

Ben Skywalker

Ben moved closer and reached out for Ender's shoulder. "Deep breaths," he said softly.

"Chak, huh?" Ben said, smiling. "King told me all about you."

Ender's shoulder tensed briefly under the touch. For a second, he looked poised to strike.

Then he relaxed, shutting his eyes. "I've got it," he muttered.

"You will," Ben agreed, still speaking softly, "but you don't right this second."

Give him a few minutes and he'd be able to dress it up in pretty words to explain and diminish the situation. Right now, he was still trying to wipe away the feeling of wolves at his back. It wasn't real. None of it was ever real. Stop being a fool.

Ender squished his eyes close further and focused on his breathing rather than an answer, trying to push down that white hot feeling of alarm.

"Ben!" Chak said happily, trying to stop swinging. "You're supposed to be old, you know."

There was an eight-year-old girl watching Jaina thoughtfully for a while. Eventually, she detached from Olhado's and Ender's sides and made her way over.

"Hi, Jaina."
