Food Appreciation [Week 8, Period 4, Mon. 10/25]
There was a really simple reason the class met in the Danger Shop today: John wanted a damn taco. The class assembled on a busy California street. There were cars, people, and a glorious taco truck.
"Today we're eating out. Mexican food is as diverse as it is delicious. There's a thousand ways to make a taco and each one is as tasty as the last. Though honestly, I haven't had the time to try them all. Sure I could spend a class teaching you how to make a couple tasty types of tacos, but seriously, we're all here for the consumption." John walked to the menu and gave the metal sign a tap. "So today you guys get to figure out themoddable menu of tacos and see if you can order something without getting laughed at for your pronunciation. Or, you know, find a friend to help you. Now, let's eat!"
