Tracking: Urban v. Wilderness; Thursday, Period Three [ 09/09 ].

Instead of Sergeant von Überwald, there was one of the teaching assistants there to greet the class. As you do.

"The class that was planned for today has been cancelled due to our teacher being buried under paperwork at the trooper station." Look, no one said they had a normal station, okay? "Instead we'll be watching this moving picture called The Escapee."

Because a movie with Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones made any day better.

"Hopefully she will have dug herself out before next week's class."

Ooh, that was a kind of neat premise for a movie, right there. Normally, Zack tended to get kind of fidgety when he had to sit still for any period of time, but for some reason, a movie about a guy on the run was just what he needed to hold his attention, today.

Jake wasn't put out by the lack of Angua. Really. At least the movie didn't suck.

This was a pretty neat premise for a movie (not to steal Zack's narrative, but it was true), in a cutely limited sort of way; Tahiri couldn't help being fascinated by how resourceful you could be when you were on the run and couldn't even get off the planet. It'd be so much easier if you could jump off to the Unknown Regions or something, but . . .

Huh.

Even liking Tommy Lee Jones, Scully had to root for Harrison Ford. Tommy Lee was an MiB.

Taking down the one-armed man was the best part, though.

Jason had no problem with movie days in class, especially when the movies didn't suck. He sat back and relaxed, content to enjoy himself.

Bruce made note of several of the ways Harrison Ford used to escape the law. He was sure it could be useful, whether it was while hunting or while avoiding hunters.
