Around the World in 15 Weeks [Monday, Period Three]

Today, when Bond's students entered the Danger Shop, they'd find themselves emerging into a bustling metropolis.

"London," Bond began, once the class had finished arriving. "Apart from getting razed to the ground very early in its history, has stood for around two thousand years." He then went on to give a potted history of the area, touching on the more interesting parts.

"Currently, we're standing in the middle of the area actually called the City of London, but unless you have an overwhelming interest in finance, there are a great many more interesting areas for you to explore during the class. All of which are worth visiting, and thanks to the magic of the Danger Shop, you'll actually be able to get to them instead of being stuck in traffic for the hour."

Like a travelling man/woman (delete as applicable).

And if he skimps a bit on the actual culture of London? Well, he's British and it skipped his mind a little. Whoops.

Sure he's picked out some of the the more touristy places, but they're still all very educational!

Except maybe the honking big Ferris wheel.

Not only do it's collections number over 9000 objects, but over seven million! There's sure to be something interesting there.

The Largest Library in the World!

Well, okay, maybe the American Library of Congress has more books...

So the original burnt down, but the reconstruction is terribly good.

Formerly the tallest Ferris wheel in the world, it's one of the best views of London going.

Who would have pointed out M's flat, but then she'd have found a way to kill him with her brain.

After he pings in.

Because it's terribly bad form to end the world.

Bod was immediately drawn to the library. A big regret of his was that he hadn't been here after he'd left the graveyard and while he knew this wasn't real, it felt real enough.

For the moment, he was just going to stand and gawk at the immense stature and beauty of the library.

Zatanna would be right next to Bod -altough there as a chance she hadn't even noticed him-, although she was more interested in what kind of books they had.

"Boy, this is something." She wasn't entirely sure of just what, but something sounded good enough at the moment.

Having performed in several of Lord Shakespeare's plays, Karla felt it was only right to see where they'd been performed 'originally.'

Man, she really wished Dinah were here with her. If only to tease about rappelling from the balconies.

Tara Maclay

Tara wandered through the museum, looking for anything that seemed magical to her. There were so many powerful, old objects, it was more than a little exciting.

Robin, being an old Theater Hand himself was certainly going to check out the theater.

He sat in one of the balconies. "Statler and Waldorf would love this one."

Oh like Robin was going to miss this? Whenever his car got to the top, a soft squeeing noise could be heard from within.

So Robin couldn't help dashing up on stage and singing. He started out with Frog of Constant Sorrow, but went into a rendition of the opening song from the movie his uncle had made in London.

Kyle hadn't seen anything like London before, so he was wandering, but around if anyone needed him.

Kyle went to the museum too, stopping to look at anything that seemed interesting. He was confused about the concept of a museum but that didn't stop him from being in awe of it.
