Leadership for Social Change - Period 7

"Team-ups!" Doctor Horrible announced. "While ideally, you will be the sole leader and commander of all, there are times that you have to work with other people. Today we're going to work on cooperation. I've assigned you into groups. I would like you to converse with each other and give me the answer to one simple question: the Lady, or the Tiger?"

He went on to explain the story of the Lady and the Tiger for those who were not familiar with the story.

Karla had talked about this story a few semesters ago in Ethics, but was interested in hearing her classmates' take on the tale.

"Obviously," Quinn said, as she breezed into a seat, "the princess freed the tiger. Why should some slut get her boyfriend if she can't have him?"

She didn't mean that. Well, not completely.

Huh. Yeah, Jane didn't want to talk about this story much. There'd been a hair dye incident stemming from it. Long, painful story.

Also she just hated group work. Which was weird, because she was such a people person.

Leda thought about that. If she were the Princess, she'd point to the girl. Of course if she were the princess she and her father would have words. But if she were the one in the arena...she suspected Mooner would have pointed to the tiger.

"I guess it comes down to is how well did the guy know the girl."

"Such a romantic," Karla said dryly. "I can't wait for the lucky guy who wins your heart."

Clearly, with so many people, this should be a cakewalk. Except for how Dinah always hated this question.

"So, okay, I'm hoping for the lady, but you guys tell me: Do you think Dr. Horrible would agree?" Play the player, not the game!

Who has brought coffee. And is finding she's going to miss Dr. Horrible in a couple weeks. Woe. But after evil skinless dogs and huge insects, he's really not that bad!

Not that she'd insult him by saying so.

"So, did you kill a lot of giant scorpions and cockroaches this weekend?" Dinah is surprised but she's actually curious about this. What do semi-super-villainish people do when faced with apocalypses?
