Fraser was out of uniform and the class was meeting inside today. Fraser didn't seen anything at all wrong with this. In fact, Fraser didn't see much wrong with anything today. He was flopped in a chair, slouched and looking rumpled.

"So, we're doing things on the elements," he said with an air of not caring about this. Teaching was boring, the kids were boring, everything was boring and he was just doing this for the paycheck, honestly. "The elements are...weather. It's that simple. Do I really have to explain it any further?"

Fraser hoped not. He was boring himself already. God, why couldn't he have taught something cool? Or something where none of the students looked like dweebs.

"Today, the Danger Shop's set up for four very different scenarios," he continued, just reading verbatim off the syllabus in front of him. "Heavy rains, heavy snow, incredible heat and a windstorm. It's up to you to take what you've learned before and survive out there. Your choice of season, your choice of survival. Don't come crying to me if you die."

With that, Fraser waved a hand dismissively so the students would get away from him.

Edmund listened and silently wondered if Constable Fraser was having problems with his lady friend. It seemed the most reasonable explanation for the slightly odd behaviour, but he kept his thoughts to himself. That didn't stop him from thinking up genius ways of reconciling Constable Fraser and Ms Scherbatsky, possibly with a romantic soundtrack. He wondered if the zombie band from Caritas was mobile and available for bookings.

Edmund decided to skip the hard work. He gathered up the supplies, climbed a tree, found a nice branch and set up a tarp over the branches above him to provide a nice, easy shelter. Then he sat back and waited for the class to end while continuing to think of ways to play matchmaker.

Princess Ariel

Hoo, boy. Someone woke up this morning with his fins all in a twist. It was almost a little impressive, and made her want to start calling Mr. Fraser Sebastian.

So now Ariel would be amusing herself for the rest of class thinking of him speaking the way Sebastian does, mon.

Puck, who was in a clean and pressed shirt (tucked into his equally clean and pressed pants) was mildly disappointed in the lecture! He had brought his special reading glasses so as to get the most out of his schoolwork today, and had been looking forward to some diligent note-taking.
