Outdoor Fitness and Strategy [Monday, Period One]

As he waited for the class to assemble, Bond rocked on his heels in a movement that could almost be called bouncy.

"Good morning, class. Today we'll be taking advantage of the weekend's weather to work on your strategy skills," he said, gesturing at the remaining snow covering the lawn. He hoped his meaning was clear "There'll be two sections to this morning's class, to begin with you'll be dividing into two teams to construct fortifications and to discuss both offensive and defensive tactics, then about halfway through the class you will hear the sound of an airhorn, which will be your cue to put those plans into action. Any premptive attacks will result in the entire class being allowed you pelt you with snowballs, call it a firing squad."

"Given the effort involved in I believe we can skip the warm up this time." Bond clapped his hands together. "Spilt into your teams and your strategising time starts now."

Jonas was glad to see the weather had calmed down and hadn't wiped the entire island away. Even knowing that he'd have to utilize strategy today (something he wasn't all that good at) wasn't worrying him too much.

Jonas had no real plan of attack but he figured he could take direction well enough and do his best. He'd read books on different strategies that had been used in the past but employing them in a snowy environment was a little different.

Jon was already assessing how big of a fort they needed, marking lines in the snow.

Rose was so totally starting to pile snow up into at the front of their area to start the wall. For some reason at St Vlad's the teachers had always forbidden snowball fights. She was so ready for this one.

Hell yes, Rose was ready to pelt Kyle with snowballs. She had a special pile with his name on it.

Kyle was going to focus on the fort building part, but then? Rose was going down.

Codex wasn't looking very productive. That had a lot to do with being miserably cold (even if it wasn't that cold) and a little concerned about projectiles being part of the class.

Stocking up on snowballs seemed like the best place to start, so Sam started forming small ones, figuring he could add more snow to them later if necessary.

Zayne started to work on the armory. Which is to say that he started making snowballs and hoping they wouldn't fall apart on touch.
