Cookery course open again

The professor comes into his classroom/kitchen. He's carrying a couple of packets of dried spaghetti and a big block of Parmaggiano.

He sets the pasta boiling, and walks over to another stove where the bolognaise sauce has been in stasis for a few days. He snaps off the slo-time envelope, and the room is suddenly filled once more with the warm smell of beef, of tomato, of basil and oregano. He stirs the pot, bends down and sniffs appreciatively.


*breep*

The professor looks round. Had he heard something?

silence

Apparently not. He dishes himself out a generous portion of pasta and sauce, and starts to shave some of the cheese over it.

*breep*

The professor looks up, wrinkles his forehead, and returns to his food. He takes the plate and places it on the table, and goes to hunt for a fork and spoon.

When he returns to the table, one strand of spaghetti has been dragged off the edge of the plate. His eyes follow the strand for a short distance across the table, where it terminates in -


*breep*

It's quite large. It's green. It's clearly fond of Italian food.

Ah. They're all fond of Italian food, then.
