Language Classes, Tuesday, Oct. 18

Dream looks almost tired today. He is gripping a large mug of coffee and taking occasional small sips. He still doesn't have much use for mortal food, but he can see why all of the other teachers love this stuff so.

Hello.

Languages of Europe students: While I am impressed with your grasps of Spanish vocabulary, we have neglected grammar thus far. Today, we are going to work on verb conjugation. There are a few simple rules, but, of course, many verbs are irregular. Here are some guidelines that will help you determine which is which...

Dream continues talking on this topic for the rest of the class period.

Cat students: No transformation today. Instead, we will watch this documentary about lions. Observe and write a paragraph on what they are saying to each other, and to the filmmakers.

Also, I would like to begin introducing you to actual cats. If you know of one on campus, let me know so that I may issue it an invitation.

Evil!Paige walks in, she wonders if Dream knows, she doesn't quite understand him or Death.

"You could ask JiJi, sir," she suggests "he was helpful when we met him last week. He belongs to Kiki, one of the students"

*Watches the video and is surprised at how much he understands of what the lions are saying.*

Evil!Paige sits down to watch the video, a male with 8 females, how very typical

Lisa sits down and stares at her notebook, totally traumitized by her art class this morning.

Rogue signs in at listens intently. She can already conjugate most of the more common verbs, but doesn't know the actual rules.

Rogue looks a little nervous as she approaches Dream in his office. "Professor?" she asks tentatively.

[[OOC: Player is off to a test, may be on sporadically between 2-4 CDT, more consistentl after 5:30]]

Hank trudges into class and sits in the back of the class. He watches the video quietly, keeping an eye on everyone else in the room.

*signs in; watches*

They're really just keepin' from eatin' those filmmakers, aren' they?

Hank clears his throat and, in a oddly raspy voice, says, "I believe that I missed the last class session and I would like to know what I need to do for reparation."

Quietly, he responds.

"I was sucked into Locker 327 sometime last Thursday. While the resultant experiences were not pleasant, I believe that I've come to terms with the events that precipated my nightmare-rampage several weeks ago.

"Thank you for the handout, sir."
