Sex Thru The Ages, 11/10, Period 3

Today there was a movie already set up and waiting for the class to watch. It was educational.

Really.

Educational.

"Today we'll be discussing the value placed on virginity in the beginning of the 21st century." IE: Now. "Is it more important or less depending on age, gender or where you come from?" Jim asked, arms crossed over his chest as he leaned against the desk.

"Watch the movie," Algren added, motioning to the television, which he clearly didn't trust in the least, as he was keeping clear of it and letting Jim handle the remote control today. "And when the movie is through, discuss how the views of modern society have affected how people value, or possibly devalue, the concept of virginity."

Jim was steadfastly ignoring the noise of what might have been a tomato hurling itself at the window in an attempt to get in and savage them all with it's tomato-y wrath. "And try keep things civil," He added, pushing play.

Alex hadn't seen this one before so it was both entertaining and educational...

...okay, no, it wasn't educational at all. It was just hilarious. Though, Alex could see Griff ending up like the main character if he didn't get his act together soon.

"If you're a virgin at this day and age," Alex noted, looking around, "and other people know it, you're probably going to get snickered at. Just the way teenagers work. We're all bastards with bitchy attitudes."

Or he was. Alex could generalize when he wanted to.

Vampire shit. Jim seriously questioned asking more, but a cucumber had joined in on the assault on the window and...

"Works for me." Oh, Fandom. "You'll need to make up the midterm."

Jason happened to glance over at the window and shook his head. And here he left vampire shit only to get fucked over by revenge of the veggies.

"Yeah, I can do that," he answered, looking back at his teacher. "A midterm on sex can't be too hard."

Jim smirked at that and nodded. "Just let me know when you can take it next week."

"It's a good world," Karla said with a smile.

You know, except for those times it failed.

"Monday'll work for me, if that's cool with you." He shrugged. "Ain't got much to do on Monday's."

"I'd imagine most of the guys here would have that certain reputation guys from your world are worried about."

"Monday it is."s

"A goodly number of them, yes," Karla said with a low chuckle. "A female can sleep with a different male every night of the week is she wishes and it's her perogative to do so. Males have to be a bit more careful--that is, if they ever want to be seen as worthy of a longer relationship than just a quick tumble in a hayloft somewhere."

She shrugged. "It isn't a fair view, at all. Even less so now that I've seen it in reverse."

"Thanks, man!" Jason grinned and sauntered off to finish watching the movie.

"So, another reason it's good you came. You've broadened your horizons."
