Sexual Anthropology, Tuesday, 8/3

Brennan looked tired and a little sunburned as she waited for the students to gather. Someone had spent the last week chasing a murderer around the Florida Keys without benefit of sunscreen.

"Hi," she said. "I listened to radio enough to know a lot of you had a bad week, and mine ... well, it was productive." Which was as much as she could say, yes. What with the getting shot at again. "Please report back on your assigned dates and then we're going to watch a movie. It's full of stereotypes about dating and sexual behavior in general in modern-day London."

[OOC: BDE killed my brain. Have an easy class, once the OCD is up!]

Hurley watched the movie, and found it both entertaining and slightly unsettling.

Rose was almost too fidgety to sit still and watch a movie. She wanted to be out doing things and getting her muscles to finally stop being stiff.

...dammit, I don't even like that movie, and that speech makes me sniffle.

"Rose and I went to a movie on Friday. She fell asleep during it and I took her to Town Hall," Zayne said, a little sheepishly.

"The sleeping wasn't either the movie or the company," Rose said quickly, feeling badly about Zayne's tone and the fact that with everything else, she'd pretty much forgotten their date. She smiled at him. "It was fun."

Except for the falling into the coma part.

"There was a very good conversation before the sleeping," Zayne admitted. "And we got to take a short tour of Town Hall before it was all over."

Only one of them was awake for that, of course, but it was still a tour.

Rose snickered. "Kinda like a civics lesson."

Only if the guy is really bad was on the tip of Rose's tongue before she bit it back. Teacher. Right.

"Not usually," Rose said. "It was that whole other-Fandom thing. I got pulled into the alternate universe with a bunch of other kids."

Said it like it was perfectly normal, yep.

It would had to have been more fun if it was a hallucination, right?

"So yeah, not planning on it happening again," Rose said, making a face. "Wasn't much fun the first time."
