Study Hall -- Friday, October 14th

Sarah sits at the front desk with a pair of sunglasses perched at the end of her nose. The dartboard is gone, but there's now a target drawn on the ceiling, and Sarah is expertly flinging sharpened pencils at it, and needless to say is connecting more often than not.

There's a sign-up list on the board for teachers to report those going to this week's detention with the added note, "This week's detention to be run by crazyvampchick."

Sonia wanders into study hall, looks warily at the target on the ceiling, then continues on to her usual seat. She pulls out a small binder, which turns out to be filled with sheet music, and absentmindedly begins flicking through the pages, hoping to find *something* that might work for their band.

Lee sits in a corner and reads political manifestos and wonders if he should have an honorable set of principles as men of honor attract chicks.

Anders sits down near Lee and swipes one of the political manifestos when he's not looking.

Lee hates Anders for being so manly and impetuous. Lee looks around for that manifesto on matriarchal societies and can't find it. With a sigh, he turns and see Anders behind him. "Hey, Anders!"

"Hey, Lee. How goes?"

"Oh, fantastic," he lies. "I hear you're the lucky one with a date tonight."

"I'm the lucky one with detention tomorrow," Anders replies with a groan. He turns to Lee with a panicked expression. "You've gotta help me out! What is there to do in town for a really good date? I might not be alive after tomorrow!"

Draco walks into study hall and plops his ass down in a chair. He opens up a book (In Her Shoes The Rise and Fall of the Dark Arts) and begins to read.

"What? WHAT? How did /you/ get detention? You're so...brave and impetuous and handsome not...What did you do??!"


"As for a good date suggestion, dinner's good at any of the restaurants in town. Maybe a film? A museum? A deep intelligent conversation about politics? Cally likes machines, maybe find something to tinker with in the not-sexy-sexy sorta way."

Duce walks into Study Hall, muscles nearly vibrating with repressed emotion. From the glower on her face, one would possibly assume anger to be at the forefront. Throwing herself into a seat, she slams open her history text and scowls down at the pages.

"I don't know, man, Psych class meets whenever Prof Drusilla feels like it, and I missed it last week!" Anders looks seriously terrified. "Okay, okay, date first, then worry about dying. Dinner, I can do that. There's nothing fun to steal at a museum, though. Machines. Hmm. Not so sure about that one though."

"..I'm getting an odd feeling about Professor Drusilla. Have you heard about Vala dumping Cam to persue Dean Bristow? He's like, three times her age or something."

"Whoa. Vala did WHAT? Okay, everybody from Psych is acting kinda psycho. I heard Harkness yelling out in the hall last night, too." Anders shakes his head. "Anybody checked on Cam? Is he okay?"

"I think she kind of broke him. I mean, Cam's an easy going sweet guy and he was, man, it was like looking in a mirror seeing him emo it up. Jeez. I feel terrible for him despite the fact that in the same breath, he lectured the frak out of me, WHAT THE FRAK."

"Damn. Poor guy. Should've looked him up this morning before I went out on my run, maybe he could have used the company. Speaking of which, I heard you and Crichton took a little field trip of your own yesterday. How'd that go?"

"A little field trip?" Lee turns pink. "Yeah, we, um, snagged a spaceship and went swimming with some sand monsters. It was very..um...manly and impetuous of us. Yes."

"You stole a spaceship?" Anders is impressed, envious, and were he to but realize it, slightly turned on by this.

"We bribed one of my proffs, actually. With slinkies." Lee wonders why Anders' cheeks turned pink just now.

"Oh." Anders deflates a little and withers. "That's not as exciting. But still. A spaceship?"

"A spaceship," he says a little prouder as Anders is, omg, reacting in ways that make Lee's manhood feel better about itself! "made of wee robots. And it totally ate the planet we went to."

"Cool. Hey, if you ever want to steal a spaceship," Anders continues, with an expression that can only be described as lecherous, "I want in on it, okay?"

Lee looks at him confused, especially because he feels that Anders is coming on to him and GODS, Anders can't be ... can't be... "Heeeey there, big boy, why would I want to /steal/ a spaceship?"
