Fashion, Etc. Etc. Ad Naseum!

The Danger Shop was set up like a runway in Milan. There were lights! There was noise! There were stick figures with big poofy lips complaining as their hair was put up into ridiculous coifs backstage with the students!

"Hello, darlings," Edna said, wheeling the rack of costumes (save one, naturally) into the room. "You have all proven to be...mostly adequate...these last few weeks in terms of creativity and not being blown up. Today you will demonstrate the lines and flow of my beautiful costumes!" Her hands flew up over her head.

"...which you also helped to design, et cetera, et cetera," she finally added. "Get changed, listen for the music and then strut, darlings! Try not to trip over things and end up on Youtube." She pointed at Shilo. "And you. You are very lucky not to be shot full of lasers yesterday. Detention for breaking into my workshop!"

With that she disappeared through the curtain to join the audience.

Fabulously.

Freak out! Have costume malfunctions!

Take pictures! Demand front row seats! Throw things at the tiny stick figures that look a lot like useless celebrities filling up the rows!

Oh, and drink coffee. Edna has provided espresso.

Dinah Lance

Dinah was staring at the runway with a mixture of fascination and dread. As well as the faux-models backstage.

"... someone needs to feed the holograms."

Shilo was looking a little miffed. "It's my costume, after all," she muttered to no one in particular, "why shouldn't I be able to come get it?"

Such a fuss over a few picked locks.

Shilo- or, rather, Future Imp (http://pics.livejournal.com/17andinfected/pic/00001hd8/)- walked down the runway trying to look as detached and yet heroic as possible.

And fight off a case of the giggles.

Gibbs had seen the posters. There was coffee.

That was all the reason he needed to show up.

Though as the show started he wondered if he could make a quiet get away.

This was supposed to be the latest in superhero design, as Steve understood it, so he felt sort of honor-bound to come. Jan would've wanted him to take notes for her, he thought wistfully as he waited for the show to start. He still didn't quite 'get' fashion, and he thought the models needed a few square meals, but here he was.

Jenny strutted down the runway in her costume, which was sleek silver with jagged gold streaks, high-necked, and almost obscenely short-skirted. Tall, blonde, and leggy was a good look for a model (and, if you asked Jenny, an even better look for someone in an obscenely short skirt). She paused to toss off a decorative lightning burst at the end of the runway before she started the walk back.

God, she needed a smoke.

"Has anyone seen my cigarettes?" Jenny looked almost desperate. "I can't find them anywhere."

Momoko Akatsutsumi

Deadpool was there. Oh, and he had popcorn for this.

Dinah and Emma were both in this class, making it imperative Karla come and show her support.

ARthur was also in this class, making it imperative Karla come and laugh at him very, very loudly.

Either way, Karla was ready for a great time.

Coffee was more than enough to pull Griff in to watch the show. He sugared it up and took a seat up front for no good reason.

Oh, God. She'd done this before, for that charity thing in New Gotham, but-- please let those be hologram-Danger-Shop-fabrications of her teachers out there. Not her actual teachers. Right! What would Helena do?

Run like the wind! And failing that? Glare. So Dinah (http://pics.livejournal.com/blondecanary/pic/0000tc6e/g3) decided to do Chad proud, and stalked down the runway, took off the jacket, flipped it over her shoulder, posed, turned and stalked back. And prayed no one got photos.

Tony was there to support Dinah. Mocking was optional.

Momoko wasn't freaked out! She's done this before, after all. Not only has she done this before, but she's taken a modelling workshop from Mister Deadpool!

At least today she had a really awesome costume and this time she could wear her totally cute boots! I mean, look at them! With the laces up the back, like that? Too cute!

Okay, maybe she was freaking out in a good way?

Arthur Pendragon

"WHAT?!"

Oh, that would be Arthur Pendragon, Prince of Camelot, ladies and gentlemen. Muttering disdainful foul medieval curses under his breath.
