Philosophy classroom: office hours, Thursday morning

Tara is in her office, and available to talk to students. There are dark rings under her eyes, and she yawns occasionally, as she sips what smells like peppermint tea.

Maia stops in the office before she heads off for the field trip. She looks tired, but her color is a little better then the night before. "Hey Tara. I just wanted to tell you thank you, for staying with me last night." Maia is wearing an old short sleveed shirt and some shorts. "Sara-Ms. Sidle told us to wear old clothes" Maia sighs "I didn't have any pants or long sleeved shirts I could spare." Maia's arms and legs are covered in finger marked bruises.

Tara nods, seriously. "I was happy to be there when you needed me." She looks at the bruises, and frowns. "But... do you mind if I talk to a few people about what's happening with you? Like my seer friend? I won't mention your name, if you don't want me to, but I'm really worried about those bruises."

Maia glances down at the bruises. "There's more then there were last night." She bites her lip. "You mean Drusilla don't you?"

"Yes, Maia. I do. I know she scares a lot of people, but she's really very sweet. And she could help you."

Maia looks interested. "How? Can she see what's doing it?"

Tara's brow furrows. "I don't really know what she can see, Maia. But she's much, much more powerful than I am, and if anyone can protect you, she could."

((I didn't even ask if she wanted to be involved. I was just planning to ask in character and let Dru say no if she wanted to. *guilt*))

Maia frowns. "But... your a witch. You protected me last night. I- will you be there when she is there." Maia looks hurt, rejected and disappointed at this turn of events.


((OOC: Dru is such a nut job I just assumed she would walk by and walk in the door. I hope I didn't over step by telling her. I just pinged her and said she was being discussed in a thread if she wanted to drop in))

"Oh, Maia, I'm not saying I won't help! Of course I'll be there!" Tara leaps up to hug Maia. "But you're a seer, and she's a seer, and I'm just a Wicca. I've already screwed up so bad, I just don't want to make it worse. You need help, Maia. We need help."

Maia hugged Tara quickly. "This thing, whatever is doing this to me. Its getting worse Tara. I feel- I feel it draining me now. Not just getting cold, I feel it pulling me."
