Ned was kind of glad the kids were gone before the the club's meeting. He could barely keep his two entertained so he knew he'd fail at keeping a group. And that would have been some kind of cleanup if the kids had come in and cooked.

"Welcome back," Ned said, nodding at everyone. "Hope you all made it through the weekend okay and had fun with your...sudden children. I had two and one of them thought an egg was going to eat his hand. Luckily, the egg did not and the pie was made."

Even if Chad had ended up a mess.

"Today, we're going to be doing side dishes. Now, every good main dish is only as good as it's side dishes. What would a turkey be without mashed potatoes or a plate of pasta be without some peas? A hamburger without fries? Side dishes are complimentary and they should match the main dish. Having peas with a hamburger is a bit odd. So, create side dishes. Think about what main dish they'd go with. And then, eat up!"

Ned nodded to the table full of ~~moddable~~ ingredients and headed to his station.

Onion rings are my faaaaaaaaaaaavorite side dish followed closely by mashed potatoes and gravy.

Chris wasn't going to think about the kids he had show up this year. Neither of them was a remote possibility in his life. Not even a little.

I'm a big fan of rice. Not the plain white stuff, but yummy flavored rice. Particularly Mexican/Spanish rice. Yum.

I... would totally eat peas with a hamburger. I kinda love peas.

WEIRDO. I love peas too but there are some things I can't eat them with. HAMBURGERS ARE ONE OF THEM. I usually eat peas with things like ham, turkey, pot roast etc.

Oooh, yes, RICE IS A GOOD ONE. I could make meals out of just white rice and brown sauce.

In fact, I want some right now.

I recognize that I am ~~a freak~~ special! I also put ketchup on ~~everything~~ them.

Ha! I love me some ketchup but I can't put it on everything. It goes on the regular stuff (fries, burgers, hot dogs, etc) most of the time. If I get odd, I put ketchup on my eggs (which isn't too bad) or on bologna sandwiches.

Hahaha, see, I could totally eat just plain white rice and be happy.

But I think that might be hard-coded into me culturally.

Marshall was there and craving some french fries like whoa.

2. Onion rings are my favorite and I'm gonna go to Burger King and get some now, ass. Way to wreck my good health.

My dad puts ketchup on peas. I imagine if I didn't think they tasted like death, I'd do it too. I put ketchup on everything. Or bbq sauce. And the only way I'll eat vegetables is if I drown them in dressing or cheese.

...I don't like the way most things taste by themselves.

1. Peas are TOTALLY disgusting. I can eat them in things now as long as there aren't too many, but on their own they're like these little spheres of ass.

2. I WANT ONION RINGS. Get me some too.
