Flight Club [Flight Shed]

Gavin was hiding under a hooded sweatshirt and a baseball cap today. Yeah, he knew it didn't do much to hide who he was but it was something. And it made it even less likely that he'd look John in the face after...last night.

Kriffing hell, he hated gremlins. He hated this place. And why the kriff had he been the girl?

"Welcome back. There's snacks." Gavin was just bundles of joy today. "Uh, just...practice with your vehicle of choice in the sim and we'll get back on track next week."

When he wasn't wanting to run and disappear into the deepest hole the island offered.

"Pay particular attention to landings. That'll come in handy next week."

With that, Gavin pulled open the sim's door and started wishing for lightning to strike him down.

You'd think, that with a week of some serious trauma, Jaina would be all quiet and stand off to the side just waiting for her turn in the sim because she had Things To Do, People.

Well, she did have Things To Do, but she was just looking really amused as she waited. Or maybe smug. She'd probably never see so many of yesterday's gremlin bitees in the same place like this again, she was allowed.

. . . wow, how many people in here had gotten gremlin bitten in the past week? That was the first thought that occurred to Tahiri as she went for the snacks, and it stuck with her for a while.

She wasn't going to laugh.

Eye contact with anyone was not happening. Especially not with Gavin. Ugh, he was never going to feel clean again.

Those clothes from last night? So getting burned later.

Of course Jaina looked amused. And don't think for a second John wasn't blaming her for his strong desire to become one with the wall today.

Oh, like Jaina wasn't going to find him. She headed over, trying to keep the smile under wraps. "Feeling better?" Aww, see, she started off sounding nice.

That worked fine because Gavin wasn't going to look at John for centuries. He'd washed his face so many times, he was sure it was sparkling. He'd used chapstick but he could still REMEMBER.

This was all...someone's fault.

He peered at her like she had to be kidding here. "Oh yeah, just peachy." Dripping sarcasm was fun!

Please, it was John's poor lips that had--hold while John dry heaves at the thought--kissed nose and hand and--no.

Don't doubt that John was going to be asking the Jedi to make him forget. He knew about that little power of theirs, oh yes!

"It could have been worse. There could have been singing." Except she thought this was totally worse/better than Annie, because of the dancing.

Should he point out that he'd sang while he looked deeply into Gavin's giant orbs with feeling and emotion? No.

"Don't even. You were there, you didn't try to stop me."

"You weren't hurting anyone," she said. "And I thought Baby might try and kick my ass if I did." That part was definitely true. And not that Jaina couldn't take Gavin, but that would have been mean.

Yeah, but it was Gavin who'd BEEN THE GIRL, in case John missed that. And had been lifted and tossed around and had John's hands on parts of him that he'd never forget.

He swallowed quickly, trying to push down the contents of his breakfast. He glared at John for that. Making him almost lose his breakfast.

"Uh huh," John nodded, of course believing that Jaina would ever let Gavin close enough to try. "So you're not hurt?" Yes, he was pouting.

John could practically feel Gavin's glare burning into him. Like it was his fault Gavin looked better in a dress. John was the one who'd been NEARLY CRUSHED during the failed lift and was probably going to have back problems forever and oh god.

John hadn't managed to eat breakfast for the gagging that had ensued over having kissed Gavin THREE TIMES. His lips would never be clean enough.

"...That what, you were dancing with Gavin under the influence of gremlin? No," she said.
