When Words Fail, Music Speaks; Tuesday, Sixth Period [ 03/24 ].

There was a pool table in the music room.

Chad was looking at it and wondering how he hadn't noticed it before. It looked a little weak on one side, and that was how he realized that he'd been using it as something to lean against in previous meetings.

After a little bit of searching, he'd also managed to unearth some cues and the billiard balls, as well as a French horn, a little plastic harp with broken stringers, seven plastic recorders, a drum mallet, and a tuba.

He didn't know if there was anything that could be done with them, but, hey, they were pretty cool.

"I found a pool table," he told the group once they met. "That's pretty cool. I'm also going to talk to the guy at the bar about April 7th for the karaoke contest, and I'll buy everyone drinks that day, too, since it'll be my birthday."

And that was about all he had to say, so it was time to...play music and stuff. And maybe some pool.

[[ YAY TO [livejournal.com profile] raspberryturk for reminding me of the pool table in this roooom, la! ]]

Oh, Host Club Pool Table, how I have missed thee!

<3 Take good care of her for us. There are many fond memories built around that pool table.

Peyton was all thinky today. And not so much with the pool playing.

Miss Bennet was here. Her thoughts kept circling around to billiards tables, and how fine certain gentlemen might look when playing.

It was quite a disconcerting thought, as she loathed the gentleman in question.

Penelope was hungry so she helped herself to chips and cookies and soda.

She would be quietly enjoying these for a little while.

She wasn't going to touch the tuba, but she did sit at the piano and start playing a lively, upbeat piece. It was fun, she thought, and grinned to herself while she played.

Agnes avoided the snooker table, as such things were unseemly.

...Also, she was awfully terrible at the game.

Agnes took up the tuba, on the grounds that everyone else probably wouldn't.

It took her a few experimental blows to figure out how to get it to make noise properly, and after that she settled into a bass rhythm that meandered under the piano and provided depth.
