How to Be A Chocobro; Friday, First Period [09/24].

The Chocobros had a prince and a little sister to go meet later, but first? They had a class to conduct! A class that none of them really knew what they were goingn to do with, as was probably going to be evident in today's class. Which was being held in the Danger Shop again, which meant, of course, they were surrounded by an influx of chocobos, despite Prompto's earlier, chocobo-free victory yesterday.

There was also a blank wall behind them, with a door in it, and that was all, just sitting there with all sorts of mystery and potential.

Gladio clapped his big hands together to grab everyone's attention.

"Alright!" he said. "I know this weekend, some of us have some visitors coming, so you might be a little distracted, so we're going to do something a little different today. Good training in preparing for the unexpected! Behind this door, we've each set up a few challenges for you. The rules are simple: get in there, complete the challenge, move onto the next one, and we'll see who comes out on top. Pretty simple, right? You can go ahead and ask questions before you go in, but I can't guarantee you'll get answers. So...without further ado..."

He nodded, and Ignis went ahead and opened the door, with a welcoming gesture toward it.

"Best of luck in there," he offered, which surely was very reassuring and confidence-instilling, right?

Superheroing 101 - Friday 9/24, 3rd period

Stark was back in the classroom this Friday after missing last week.

“I apologize for last week,” he said after everyone arrived. “I was...preoccupied and should have let you all know I wouldn’t be here. I won’t let it happen again. You get a movie day today to make up for it. Well, a television day.” This was probably a poor teaching strategy but it seemed like a good idea to Stark and he wasn’t exactly qualified to be teaching this subject anyway.

“Have any of you seen Bitterwoman before? A superhero show from here, from Earth, from a long time ago.” It had been old when he was a student here and that had been a long time ago.

“I have an episode for you to watch, and hopefully enjoy, and we can discuss when it’s finished. And there’s snacks, if you like.” Of course there were snacks. What kind of class did you think this was?

Teamwork, Friday, September 24, 2021

Today Steve wasn't the tallest blond man in the class! "This is our friend Thor," Steve said, pointing to the huge man beside him.

"Hail!" Thor said jovially.

"He's not from around here," Steve added.

"This is going to go great," Tony said in a stage whisper. "Everyone meet Thor. He's a guest this weekend."

And a friend from work.

"He works with us on our team," Steve said, nodding, "and so today he is happy to answer any questions you might have about it."

"I have brought mead!" Thor added.

"Not for the kids, Thor," Steve said quickly.

"We can do Norse drinking games with apple cider to demonstrate bonding with your future or present teams," Tony suggested. Because those games were hilarious.

"And still none of you will be worthy to lift my hammer," Thor said, smirking.

"Not a euphemism." Tony was doing his very best not to laugh.
