Home Economics, Tuesday [Class 15]

"Well," Lulu began, "our last class together for the semester. I hope you've all enjoyed your time with me. There's just one last task to complete before we can finish out the term. That, of course, is your final.

"It's entirely practical," she continued. "There's no theory or written component to this class after all. You have two tasks to complete in the allotted time: first, to prepare a dish of my choosing. Second, to find a partner, take their measurements, and make for them an article of clothing of your choice ~~that can be handwavily completed in time~~."

A casual smile graced Lulu's face. "Well?" she asked. "What are you waiting for? Get to it.

"And good luck."

Finally!

The stations are set up with everything you need for pan de polvo (http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,1918,151175-234196,00.html). Work individually!

Find a partner and get to work!

When she's not busy with her own final -- and after she pings in, of course!

Who is available for any questions you may have! And is also standing by with a Water spell at the ready, just in case there are any cooking mishaps.

It's been fun, you guys. :) I know it wasn't the most interactive of classes, but you did what you could with it, and I appreciate that!

Amber Atkins

Amber started on her cookies and hoped she could taste test when they were done. She was starving.

Sam Witwicky

Sam's cookies were okay (maybe a little...crispy), but he couldn't figure out how much cinnamon to use in the dough, since it didn't seem to be included in the list of ingredients. So he left it out.

Sam looked around for a partner, his expression very like fear.

Francine Peters

Oh, God, coooookies. Bad enough that there was measurement-taking involved in this final, but it had to come after baking cookies? Francine sighed and set to work, making her best guess at how much cinnamon to put in, and tasting frequently. She had to, obviously!

Hoshi Sato

Hoshi was there, and she was in a good mood since it was her last final exam.

Cookies were easy. Hoshi may have been a little disappointed because she brought a data PADD with plenty of recipes to choose from. She thought about making something extra besides the cookies, just to show that the could, but decided against it.

Summer Roberts

Summer could handle cookies. They weren't the best cookies ever (too much cinnamon most likely), but they were passable.

Viki

Viki's cookies would've been a lot better had she actually been paying attention to how long she cooked them for.

The end result was crispy, and overly cinnamony, but she figured that they tasted well enough to her, and that was alright in the end.

Andrew Wells

Andrew was happy it was such a simple recipe; it would give him time to shape the cookies into cute little animals.

Harry Dresden

Cookies!
Sure, baking wasn't manly and Bob would give him hell if he ever admitted it, but Harry enjoyed making cookies because even cookies gone wrong usually tasted pretty good.

Harry's cookies turned out decently. Definitely edible, maybe even tasty, although he pulled them out of the oven a little early. He liked his cookies squishy.

Oh no. Not the sewing. Harry looked around for a partner he could ~~handwavily cos I is sick and going to sleep~~ mangle a piece of clothing for.
